Prague is widely recognised as one of the most attractive European capital cities, but there was still a level of uncertainty about whether the combined appeal of the city and the exhibition would be sufficient to attract an acceptable quantity and quality of visitors. However, there was no need to worry, and the final figure of 1700 visitors confirmed the success of the event.

The SORG/EME stand was well frequented, and recorded visitors from North and South America, the Indian subcontinent, Asia, Africa and, of course, Europe. The majority of European visitors were naturally from Eastern European countries, but the west was also well represented, with guests from, amongst others, France, Italy, Belgium and Spain.
